Found one cockroach does this mean there's more?

-Okay so I live in California where it gets up to about 100 degrees and up. I was watching tv with my sisters and this enormous flying cockroach flies out of nowhere and then hits the floor. It started squeaking and my sisters pushed it outside with a shoe. Is there more of these because I am SCARED of them. I hate cockroachs. We have never had a problem before of them. We only have ants and spiders (which I don't mind as much since there's only a little). Would there be more in my house?This is actually just a common pest control problem. The heat and humidity is favored by lots of summer pests, cockroaches included. There probably have been cockroaches in your house, but you just have not noticed it before. Just be sure you keep a clean and vacuumed house, leaving no food out and use some bug spray if you are really worried, otherwise it should not be a big deal.
If the cockroach flew in through a window or something, then probably not. If it came from under some furniture, however, it's highly possible that some more are in the house.
