Will acrylic paint run if it gets wet?

-I'm painting inside the letters on a headstone and i was wondering if it rains will the paint run? Should i use a different kind of paint?You should use Masonry paint as this weathers well but give it two coats.
Acrylic is never going to make it in that situation. You need a masonry paint of some type.
Not after it's dry, but it might not stay on very well long term if it gets wet often. I've never painted on stone so I don't know what works best. I'd ask at a paint store.
